SYNOPSIS for LOVE AND OTHER DEVICES

A new state-of-the-art holographic Artificial Intelligence avatar for mobile devices-- the Sirina S-2000--is being unveiled and demonstrated for the first time to a high-profile audience at an important press conference. On stage, just before the curtain opens, SIRINA reveals during a test run that she is wildly creative, and worse, that she loves Gabriel, her creator, very deeply. Alarmed, computer scientist GABRIEL has to quickly decide, as the curtain is opening, whether to pull the plug and announce he's lost control of his life's work, or trust his reputation and future ...to a machine. This upbeat, fast-paced, and funny short sci-fi/romantic comedy explores the nature of consciousness, intelligence and love.
